Biography: Mr. Mead was a Judicial Clerk in the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut from 2000 to 2003 and clerked for Superior Court Judges on Criminal, Civil and Family cases, including murder/manslaughter trials, personal injury and medical/dental malpractice, among other actions; in 2004 Mr. Mead drafted the appellate briefs for both the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court on a civil litigation matter of an issue of first impression which resulted in a unanimous reversal by Connecticut's highest court and changed the tort landscape of the State of Connecticut, an amicus curiae brief by the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association was filed supporting Mr. Mead's position on the brief; upon arriving in New York City in 2004 Mr. Mead successfully litigatedimmigration/asylum cases with asylum grants and remands, appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Petitions for Review; from 2004 to 2008 Mr. Mead handled insurance litigation for a major insurance company including trials and appeals; from 2008 to 2012 Mr. Mead has handled hundreds of trials to verdict representing medical providers on complex insurance litigation matters, as well as declaratory judgment actions in Supreme Court involving recoupment, business torts and fraud allegations, and in Federal Court on Civil and Criminal R.I.C.O. in the E.D.N.Y. and S.D.N.Y., Mr. Mead has also obtained dismissal on a White Collar Criminal case in Kings County Criminal Court, involving a joint task force between the District Attorney's Office, the New York State Attorney General and the Tax Department. Mr. Mead has also tried both bench and jury criminal trials in State and Federal Court including D.W.I. charges to verdict with acquittals, as well as federal RICO trial(s). Mr. Mead is a member of the Bronx County 18B Criminal Panel.

Civil - Valentina Acupuncture, P.C. v. State Farm Auto Ins. Co., Kings Civil, insurance coverage trial involving allegations that the underlying accident was fraudulent, successfully precluded defendant from raising prior accidents under civil application of the Molineaux doctrine, after two day trial jury returned a verdict that the accident was not fraudulent and client was awarded full judgment.
Criminal – People v. H.C., Queens Criminal – weapons possession with intent to use, Mapp/Dunaway/Huntley hearings – suppression granted, case dismissed; People v. B.R., NY Criminal, DWI, Johnson/Dunaway/Huntley hearings – suppression granted; People v. F.D, Queens Criminal, Bench Trial, DWAI, acquittal; People v. M.B., Bronx Criminal, DWI Refusal Trial, five car accident, pedestrian hit, civilian onlookers, following a two week jury trial, cross-examination of three police officers, including highway patrol, and a civilian witness, jury acquitted; Nassau County v. C.O., Nassau Family Juvenile Deliquency proceeding, following a Bench trial including three police witnesses, and three civilian witnesses, Judge dismissed the DWI;
